What is Lifestyle?

You hear the term “lifestyle” tossed around a lot these days, but what does it really mean? It’s not determined just by where you live, how much money you make, or what kind of car you drive. It’s the little things that define your lifestyle.

It’s the way you spend your Saturdays in thrift stores. The way your socks never match. The way you like your pizza cold, your tea hot, and your movies black and white. It’s about inside jokes, outside voices, baby blankets, grown-up books, singing in the shower, laughing at yourself, and loving what you love.

The challenge is finding images that capture the essence of lifestyle, not just busy businessman using a cell phone, but something that gives a glimpse into what this person’s life is like. It is a thing of beauty when you can find one image that is just a slice of someone’s life and expand from there, allowing your mind to fill in the blanks.

The good news is that those images are out there. You just need to know where to look.
