In “Look What We Found” News, we stumbled across another interesting selection of vintage images in the Glow library just the other day. This set features colorized French postcards from World War I. Even without any knowledge of the French language, they are still intriguing. These postcards have a certain artistic feel and a little bit of nostalgia combined with a touch of eeriness and maybe even a dash of the creepies. But not enough to scare you off.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to speak or read French, you’ll see that the postcards have phrases like, “Glory to the French Army”, “I admire the tough and noble soldier. . .” or “We are the protectors of civilization”.

Please enjoy these rare gems from the Glow library by visiting the gallery.
