Nation Spotlight: Australia

Today’s stock photography guided trip takes us to Australia. Seeing how it’s both a country and continent, we can cross two things off our list with this one. We also hope to engage in a spirited bout of knife comparison, which you win by saying, “That’s not a knife. That’s a knife.”

Sydney Opera House – One of Australia’s most iconic structures. It’s unique design and perfect location makes it a great photo opportunity. Interesting side note: The Opera House has an opera written about itself. Sorry for blowing your mind just then.

Great Ocean Road – This is a scenic coastal drive that runs along the shores of Victoria. We will take the accompanying walking trails called the Great Ocean Walk. This gives us a chance to stretch our legs and take in some breathtaking scenery and rock formations, such as the scene above, known as The Twelve Apostles.

Seafood – Thanks to Australia’s relatively clean ocean waters, this is a great place to get some high quality seafood. Give us one of everything.

Tasmanian Rainforests – Tasmania is home to a mostly unspoiled habitat with a great diversity of wildlife. We will hike through the rainforests, potentially chasing waterfalls despite previous musically-dispensed advice that we do otherwise.

Bondi Beach – You can’t fall off an emu without landing on a good beach in Australia. Then again, why would you be riding an emu? Anyway, we will conclude this adventure by relaxing for a few days at Bondi Beach. Given that it is Australia, we may head over to Bells Beach for a few more beach days.
