Photo Effects: Make Me Mini

Tilt and shift lenses can be a very valuable tool for photographers. They can be used to create several different special effects that can really make for a creative image. One of these coolest effects these lenses can create is known as tilt-shift miniature faking.

Tilt-shift miniature faking gives the illusion that you are looking at a miniature, handmade set when, in reality, you are looking at a real landscape. To put it simply, it takes a real scene and makes it look like something from a stop-motion animation or a diorama. The camera plays with the depth of field and results in these unreal images.
